MARY RIVER COD PARK

Public BBQ

Mary River Cod Park serves multiple purposes as a quiet recreational area with excellent facilities. This free-to-visit park features clean, well-maintained toilets and ample parking without crowding issues. A boat ramp with adjacent pontoon (though sometimes not afloat due to low water levels) provides dam access for kayaking enthusiasts. The sheltered picnic area includes BBQ facilities and bins, while a bike wash station with hose caters to mountain bikers using the nearby Noosa trail network. This location serves as an ideal starting point for various activities including birdwatching along Colwood Road, exploring adjacent National Park walking trails, and enjoying beautiful walks in the camping area. Note that dogs are not permitted, maintaining the area's focus on wildlife and natural experiences.
