BUNDARRA LIONS PARK

Public BBQ

Bundarra Lions Park presents a peaceful riverside camping experience along the Gwydir River, maintained by the Lions Club as a donation-based facility. The quiet, scenic location offers plenty of space with flush toilets, picnic tables, bench seats, and fire pits. While basic in amenities with no power and water requiring filtration, the safe and tranquil environment compensates. Tap water and clean toilets are available, though facilities are minimal. The turn-off sits 100 meters past the mapped location, just before the bridge when leaving Bundarra. Recent improvements removed an eyesore shed, though deep rutted tracks remain. A pit toilet now serves visitors. This beautiful, flat camping spot attracts those seeking riverside serenity, with visitors encouraged to bring firewood and contribute to the donation box for maintenance, though vandalism has affected this system.
